Quick & Easy Saturday Brunch Recipe

I felt bored this morning and said to myself: "Let's do something fun in the kitchen." I headed over there, looked in the fridge and found eggs, avocados and cheese and thus, this recipe was born.

Well, I might've googled as well, a girl needs some help.

So, here's a recipe for stuffed egg avocado, it's perfect for any meal either breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, whatever you like. This recipe is also low carb/ketogenic so, if you're following such diet, this is perfect for you. Even if you're not, try something healthy for a change.

And just to mention, it's very quick and easy, you only have 6 simple steps to take and it'll be ready in less than 25 minutes.

Ingredients for one

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese of choice
  • basil
  • salt, pepper... whatever else of spices you'd like

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F)

Crack the eggs in the separate bowls, be careful that the yolk stays steady.

Cut an avocado in half and take out the large stone out of it:

Now, gently put each egg into each slice of avocado, continue spooning egg white into the hole until full. You can also use a spoon to dig deeper so, it would have more space and won't fall over.

Cut two slices of cheese and place it onto each slice of avocado, season it with pepper, salt and basil and put it into the heated oven.

Bake for 10-15 minutes (depends on how much you want it to be roasted), get out of the oven, serve on a nice plate and...

Bon appétit. You have a healthy, satisfying meal for brunch or any other meal of the day.

In hair life my thoughts

What Should My Hair Color Be?

Since I was fourteen I've been dying my hair in different hair colors. Mostly those were natural hair colors. But, today I've got an urge to dye my hair in some colorful color. There are a few examples of people who have an "unnatural" hair color such as blue or green from my hometown, but I wanted to challenge myself and try something new. However, I don't think I have the guts for it so, I'll probably go with something natural once again.

History of my hair colors

My natural hair color

This was trillion years ago (2013) and I don't have many photos of me from this era. At this time, I was mostly using filters from Retrica or other similar camera apps so, there are almost no photos without a filter, but as you can see my natural hair color is ashy brown with blonde highlights.

First fake hair color

This was also five million years ago, somewhere at the beginning of 2014 when I really wanted to dye my hair. Do I regret it now? Kinda, but it was fun being a blonde.
Also the same year

I went from dying my hair back to my natural hair color... dying my hair black!

This was actually an accident, I wanted to dye it dark brown but, it ended up being black. I'm glad I did it because it was something different. This photo is actually from May 2015, so three years ago! Time really flies.

In 2015, after my black accident, I was mainly being just darker medium brown. By the end of the year, I started to light my hair a bit, but the most happened next year.

I went from some blonde once again to warm brown. Can I ever really decide? Seems as if not. Now, I miss 2016! That was definitely my year.

Last year I did a pretty similar thing to the year before. I went from blonde to medium brown, but by the end of the year I got to much darker brown color:

As you can see, I finally got something new to my look except hair color: fringes. I still have them a little bit.

Currently I have a medium brown hair color. I haven't dyed my hair since last year, the color just washed itself out and I think it's pretty good, but I really want a change.

Now, after reflecting back at my life and sharing a few embarrassing old photos, I see how much I actually changed. Not just when it comes to my hair color, but also as a person. I still have a long way to go, but each year thought me new things.

Back to the topic, which color do you think suits me the most? Should I really do some crazy hair color or stick to the natural palette?

Tell me in the comments!

In First post

For a few years now, I’ve been wanting to make a blog and I guess the thing that was stopping me is that I believed I couldn’t make it and that I shouldn’t since I live in a small town where not many people are bloggers (if any?), but I think now is the perfect time. I am 19 years old and my name is Nora as you can see by the title of this blog, I am Croatian born and raised  and the town I live in is Dubrovnik, you might now it from Game of Thrones as King’s Landing.

So, what’s the idea behind this blog? Well, at its core it’s going to be basic - lifestyle, self-improvement, makeup, fashion and everything else that you can seemingly find on any other blog, but it’s also going to be honest, I won’t sugarcoat my life and make it seem perfect, although, I hope it will be good most of the time, I will talk about my problems and worries, my struggles and other not so happy stuff, but I will always focus on the positive perspective of it and try to find solutions to problems. After all, it’s the only way to actually solve problems, by solving them.

When it comes to fashion, my style changes a lot and in my short life I had a lot of different fashion phases I was going through, trendy, hipster, classy etc. and since I don’t like to limit myself, today my style involved in combining all of those and wearing what I like based on my moods.

I love makeup. I really do, but as I am not a makeup artist (unfortunately), I don’t have the greatest skills, still, I think I do it fairly good. My regular makeup look is foundation, contour, highlighter per choice and same goes to blush, concelear, shaped eyebrows, shiny brown smokey eye (at least I try), light black eyeliner, mascara and as always, a nice lipstick matching the outfit.

I am currently finishing high school so, my future plans are most likely to go to college this autumn and what comes later, well, we should just go with the flow and see what life brings. You can never plan anything 100% since life is unpredictable and that doesn’t necessarily means in a bad way, it can bring you even greater opportunities than you expected.

And there goes my first post, an introduction. Thank you for reading and leave a comment if you want to.
